Leadership
While shipping products is rewarding, what I find truly meaningful is helping others grow. I offer pro-bono mentorship to newcomers and career switchers in UX, guiding them toward their first designer role. Supporting and developing my team is not just part of my job—it’s the most fulfilling aspect of it.

Empowering Growth Through Mentorship
I provide pro-bono mentoring to junior designers, students seeking their first design role, and new immigrants facing challenges entering the Israeli tech industry. Learn more on the Wix Mentorship Program and Gvahim non-profit organization websites.
Fostering Leadership and Ownership
I guided two individual contributors (ICs) on my team to become UX team leads by nurturing their growth and helping them take full ownership of their products. Through mentorship, I empowered them to become leaders and mentors themselves, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Mastering Storytelling for Designers
I facilitated a 2-day offsite workshop, "Storytelling for Designers," to help my team develop one of the most essential skills in design—effective storytelling. Through interactive sessions, I guided them in mastering this craft, ensuring they feel confident using storytelling to enhance their design work and communicate ideas more impactfully.

Stav Stein
I’m Stav, Head of UX at Wix.com, where I lead design strategy for core platforms like Wix Studio, Developer Center, Wix Docs platform, and the Wix App Market. Over the past 7+ years, I’ve grown from hands-on product designer to UX team leader, mentoring cross-functional teams and aligning product vision with user needs and business impact.
My work has helped shape experiences used by millions—whether it's enabling entrepreneurs, developers, or large businesses to manage their online presence.
Beyond the screen, I’m a proud mom of two boys, a dog lover, and an avid competitor in dog agility contests. I find joy in crafting ceramics, baking sourdough bread from scratch, and mentoring the next generation of UXers. Whether it’s in the kitchen or the design studio, I thrive on creativity, curiosity, and connection.
